9. Reduce the chance of blisters
Inevitably, every hiker or outdoor lover will suffer from painful blisters after a few hours of walking, or even after a few minutes. There is no greater discomfort, but thankfully, this is an issue that may be readily remedied with some duct tape. If you tend to acquire blisters on your feet when hiking, be prepared with a roll of duct tape. If your shoes are new or you know they may cause pain, put a piece of duct tape to the back of your foot before you leave the house. Blisters will be avoided due to the significant reduction in friction.
