4. Label items in your garden
Duct tape labels are a fun way to give your homegrown herbs a little personality. Just attach a popsicle stick with duct tape and label the herb on the tape’s glossy side. Then you can simply tell your herbs apart by placing the popsicle sticks in your garden. If you really want to show off your sophistication, use a ballpoint pen to engrave a raised label of your herbs onto the duct tape. As you can make fresh labels quickly and cheaply, you can simply swap out your herbs without having to re-label your whole garden.
