18. Craft a cup holder
Some patio chairs come equipped with a handy cup holder, while others aren’t quite that glamorous. Duct tape may be used to make your own cup holders for basic outdoor chairs. Get started with only one roll of duct tape. If you want to use the cardboard from the roll, just tape the bottom shut. Simply use the excess strips to fasten the roll to the arm of your favorite patio chair. The end product is a basic cup holder that does its job adequately. It’s not the most aesthetically pleasing device, but it avoids having to purchase whole new seating.
