17. Fix a tire for a bit
Tires that burst unexpectedly are a regular problem. The problem is that the answer is usually confusing. There’s no use in driving about with a punctured tire if you can’t take your vehicle to the shop to get a replacement installed. However, continuing to drive on a flattened tire might cause more damage to the wheels. Duct tape may be used as a quick patch for a flat tire. Cover the hole as best you can with a piece of duct tape and continue driving. The duct tape will keep everything together until you can go to a mechanic and have the issue fixed for good.
