12. Use as a luggage tag
As any frequent flyer will confirm, searching through the chaos of a crowded airport for your bag can be a real pain. There’s a good chance that someone else on your aircraft has a luggage that looks suspiciously like yours. Sure, you can put your name on the bag with a sticker, but duct tape is the way to go if you really want it to be noticed. Make your suitcase stand out by taping a piece of colorful duct tape on the handle. That way, you can easily identify your bag on the baggage carousel as it comes around.
