10. Say bye to leaks
A little amount of duct tape may be used to repair a rupture in a hose or to stop leaks around the nozzle. All you have to do is wrap a piece of duct tape over the affected region and wait for the glue to do its thing. Make sure the hose is completely dry before applying the duct tape. Because water from the hose compromises the adhesiveness of the duct tape, you’ll need to replace it every few days. Make sure there are no air bubbles or voids by pressing firmly against the duct tape. If you follow those steps, your hose should function as well as a brand-new one.
