Don’t brake when your tire blows!
If you are driving your car and suddenly one of your tires blows, don’t brake! Although it may be your first instinct to do so, it is actually much better to keep your foot on the accelerator and maintain your speed.
Hitting the brakes when a tire blows can cause fishtailing, which raises the chances of an accident with another car or pedestrian.
If you maintain control of your car by keeping your foot on the accelerator, you should be able to drive it right off the road.
